Glutathione Injection

Glutathione Injection is a powerful antioxidant found in the liver and other sulfur-rich foods that help to alleviate toxins and free radicals. This natural antioxidant is also known to reduce signs of aging like fine lines, wrinkles and sun spots and it can lighten skin tone.

GSH is also a powerful detoxifier that works by removing heavy metals and other harmful substances from the body, thereby helping to prevent toxicity and disease. This antioxidant also has anti-inflammatory properties and can protect autoimmune diseases by lowering oxidative stress levels that attack the mitochondria.

While oral glutathione supplements can be taken, the best way to absorb the antioxidant is through IV infusion therapy. This method of administration ensures that the body receives a high level of glutathione through the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive tract where absorption is not guaranteed.

A study using fifty female albino rats found that glutathione injections were able to significantly decrease the oxidative damage to the ovarian tissues and oocytes. This was due to the anti-oxidant property of glutathione, which was able to decrease the level of MDA in the ovarian tissue. Moreover, the glutathione injection was able to increase the level of progesterone and estrogen in the ovarian tissues.

As with any injection, there may be some bruising and swelling after receiving a glutathione shot. However, icing the injection site should help minimize this (try a cold pack for 10 to 20 minutes afterward). As with any injected substance, if you experience a headache or pain after treatment, over-the-counter pain meds are usually sufficient to relieve it.
